Hopewell Fair a Success

The Lions returned to the Harvest Fair to serve popcorn and lemonade to the crowd and spread the message of our clubs activities to our neighbors. The effort was our best financial success ever. Funds received from the fair are used to support a variety of the club's projects.

Awards Presented to Volunteers

For the past three years the Hopewell Valley Lions Club has honored members of the three local first aid squads and fire companies at a November dinner meeting. The names of those selected by their own members is then inscribed on a plaque which is displayed at local Township and Borough Town Halls. As volunteers themselves, the Lions especially appreciate the dedication of these members of our community..

Girl Scout Awarded

Girl Scout Maeve Pinto is honored by Nick Tuz, Chair of Youth Activities for her Gold Award Project, "A Woman's Place Is in the House...and the Senate." Scout Pinto organized a trip to Washington for fifty-five scouts who met with New Jersey Senator Robert Torricelli's staff and also toured our nation's capitol.
